Our Mission

The Mission of Our Lady of Peace Church (OLPC) is to foster the practice of the two greatest commandments:  to love God above all things, and to love our neighbors as ourselves.  And in this parish dedicated to Our Lady of Peace, two of our first priorities are to promote strong family units and to promote brotherhood and sisterhood in Jesus among the various cultural groups of which the parish is constituted.  Further, OLPC advocates respect for the reception of the sacraments, especially anchoring one’s spiritual life in a devotion to the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, and encourages the practice of religious devotions such as Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament and the recitation of the rosary.  In addition, the parish promotes religious education, primarily to parish youth, but secondarily for all parishioners.  Finally, the parish seeks to help those who find themselves in need, either through sickness or through lack of financial resources.
